The morning after

Here are some pictures from the day after the Big Move.
I think I have made quite a bit of progress since then, thank goodness.
Looking toward the front door from the back of the place.
This is my dining room. There are really not *that* many boxes ... they're just blocking the way to get to anything else. Never fear, I have forged a path.

The kitchen is a disaster, but my housemate and I scrubbed the cupboards so at least what you can't see is very clean.

See-less dominates the box mess in the living room.

The couches are not quite where they're going to be, but they "fit" there right now, so there they are staying

The beast hung out with my folks while the movers and I were schlepping things through the rain into the house. Now she just wants to hang out in my housemate's room ...

Even the main bathroom didn't escape moving carnage.

The banister (is that a banister?) is getting piled with empty (whoohoo) boxes.

My room is starting to look like a room ...

A very messy room.

Wow! Everything looks strangely familiar. And the paint looks awesome! We probably went to the liquor store (for boxes, of course) as much as you went to the paint store.
