Flying away ... close to home

The Museum of Flight is really close to my home and I paid it a visit on Saturday. I went right at 11 a.m., when it opened, which was a good thing: It got packed toward the end of my visit. I have been there ... about 15 years ago ... and it was nice to get a refresher course.
Air Force One ...

In the AF1 kitchen.

The Concorde.
A really big engine.

A badge for female pilots.

Some Russian on a prop.

One of the first warplanes (Italian)

A French plane ... I like the rooster.
This map shows a big blank box where my house is now ... I'm guessing that's because there used to be farmland here.

This made me laugh.

There was a live feed from space.

Old-school Alaska.
